No matter your preferred doughnut style, it’s hard not to love the iconic Krispy Kreme look. The company has a rich history of gorgeous branding. Their customers come to them for doughnuts, but they needed help driving attention to their beverage program. They were also looking for fresh ideas for their merchandise program.

Messaging around the brand’s coffee was tricky, partly because we couldn’t make many specific claims about product. Striking a simple and optimistic tone, the lines “Brewed Fresh Since 1937” and “Treat Yourself to Coffee and Doughnuts” nod to the company’s heritage (and one of life’s best food combos). The lines ran on print applications including menu boards and drive-through panels. And when it came to merchandise concepts, our team swung for the fences, treating Krispy Kreme like a lifestyle brand.
